Nieuwe & Oude Molen is situated in the small Belgian village of Sippenaeken, less than a kilometre from the Netherlands. This unique accommodation consists of the two adjacent holiday homes “Nieuwe Molen” (The New Mill) and “Oude Molen” (The Old Mill), which together can accommodate 40 people.
Oude Molen
The interior of this former mill is a beautiful mix of old and new. The living room has underfloor heating, leather sofas, a pellet stove and a large dining table. The kitchen with traditional wall tiles is equipped with all conveniences, including a 6-burner gas hob, large oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. Behind the kitchen is a small TV room where you can enjoy a bit of peace and quiet while reading a good book.
The wooden staircase in the living room takes you up to the first and second floors. On the first floor you will find a double bedroom and an ensuite bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. On the second floor you will find a second double bedroom.
The staircase in the hall, where there is also a small bathroom with toilet and shower, leads to the other upper part of this holiday home. On this first floor there are five double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. On the second floor you will find another three double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over the bathtub, toilet and washbasin. All bedrooms are equipped with luxury single box-spring beds.
Nieuwe Molen
This holiday home is a beautiful, fairly new half-timbered house. Enter the house as is typical in Limburg – through the back door. You will immediately find yourself in the gigantic living room which has underfloor heating and is bathed in natural light. The two large dining tables can seat up to 20 people, and the attractive seating area near the wood-burning stove also offers plenty of seating space. From the kitchen you have beautiful views over the garden and terrace. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with all conveniences, including a 6-burner gas hob, large oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. In the pantry there is a large fridge and separate freezer.
On the upper floor are the seven bedrooms, dispatched into various capacities, from two-person bedrooms to five-person bedrooms. The five-person bedrooms have an upstairs section with two beds and a downstairs section with three beds. The upper floor also has a separate toilet with washbasin and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have a shower and washbasin, and one also has a bath. The upper floor can also be accessed from the terrace.
