This attractive, two-person holiday home is one of four ‘tiny houses’ located in the picturesque Belgian village of Sippenaeken. Constructed using transversely laid wooden cubes, these fairly new and small-scale holiday homes form a unique hamlet in the beautiful hilly landscape. Woodhouse - The White is the holiday home to the right and has a fresh, white interior with Balinese influences.
Let’s take a look inside
The layout of the house is very practical, with each part having its own function. On the ground floor there is a cosy bedroom and an adjoining bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. Its shiny white wall tiles and black details make this bathroom a real eye-catcher. The spiral staircase takes you to the upper floor, where you’ll find the living room and open kitchen. This white-coloured kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer, kettle, Nespresso machine and of course enough kitchen utensils and tableware to prepare a delicious meal. While you enjoy a romantic dinner at the round dining table, you can look out over the beautiful green surroundings. Then while away the evening with a good book or a gripping film on the cosy 2-seater sofa.
Outdoor space
The large windows in the living room provide access to your private patio, where you can enjoy each other’s company, a refreshing drink, and the view over the woodland and rolling landscape. Make sure you take the opportunity to head out to!
A shared Weltevree design hot tub is now available for all four Woodhouses and Hubertus Huuske. The hot tub is located at the top of the hill on the terrace. You can book your slot on the spot. Sheer pleasure guaranteed!
The home is surrounded by a range of walking trails and cycling routes that will transport you to the most stunning spots in South Limburg and the Belgian Voer region. The renowned Boscafé Het Hijgend Hert is within walking distance, for example, at just 3.5 km away. On top of that, you’re only a half-hour drive away from Maastricht and Aachen, and the Three Country Border is even closer. During the summer season, you can also use the outdoor swimming pool at the campsite nearby for a small fee.
Please note
- In some places the WiFi connection is not very good, but in a natural setting like this it is nice to be offline for a while and to just relax.
- A small dog allowed on request (must sleep in a cage, not on the bed or sofa and cannot be left alone in the house).
