This two-person holiday home, situated in a picturesque location in the Belgian village of Sippenaeken, is one of four ‘tiny houses’. These fairly new, small holiday homes feature a design of wooden cubes stacked on top of each other, together creating a unique sight against the beautiful hilly landscape. The Black Tiny House is the highest house and therefore has the most beautiful views. As the name suggests, inside the holiday home you’ll mainly find black design elements. Combined with natural materials, this creates a really special effect.
Let’s take a look inside
The layout of the house is very practical, with each part having its own function. On the ground floor there is a cosy bedroom and an adjoining bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. Its shiny black tiles and interior make this bathroom a real eye-catcher. The spiral staircase takes you to the upper floor, where you’ll find the living room and kitchen. The open kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine and of course enough kitchen utensils and tableware to prepare a delicious meal. While you enjoy a romantic dinner at the round dining table, you can look out over the beautiful green surroundings. Then while away the evening with a good book or a gripping film on the cosy 2-seater sofa.
Outdoor space
The sliding doors in the living room provide access to your private terrace where you have the peace and privacy to toast a nice drink together while enjoying the views over the forest and the hilly landscape. There’s also plenty of reasons to get out and about!
A shared Weltevree design hot tub is now available for all four Woodhouses and Hubertus Huuske. The hot tub is located at the top of the hill on the terrace. You can book your slot on the spot. Sheer pleasure guaranteed!
Around the house there are various walking and cycling routes that lead you to the most beautiful places in South Limburg and the Belgian Voer region. In addition, you are only half an hour’s drive from Maastricht and Aachen, and not far from the point where the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany meet. In the summer season you can also use the outdoor swimming pool of the nearby campsite for a small fee.
Please note
- In some places the WiFi connection is not very good, but in a natural setting like this it is nice to be offline for a while and to just relax.
- This holiday home is not suitable for people with walking difficulties as there is a steep footpath to reach the house.
