The 4-person holiday home ‘Kleine Huis’ is located in the gorgeous valleys of the Belgian Voer region. This cosy holiday home has a traditional look and feel and is fully equipped with modern fittings, making it especially popular among couples, hikers, and families with children.
Then and now
Kleine Huis is part of a unique half-timbered building, the oldest parts of which date from the 16th century. The current owners have expertly restored the property. They have also built additional houses in a traditional and ecological way, creating a kind of medieval courtyard with different levels, passageways, an inner courtyard and a garden.
Let’s take a look inside
The entrance to the holiday home is located on the courtyard. Step inside and enter the cosy living room. Here you will find a wood-burning stove, well-stocked bookcase, children's toys and a radio/CD player. The adjoining kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and more. The wooden dining table is perfect for enjoying a burgundian meal together with friends or family. You also have the option to eat outside, as the kitchen door leads out to a covered terrace.
The first floor has a second sitting area with comfortable armchairs, a sofa, and TV (with DVD player and some DVDs). Prepare a cup of hot chocolate, snuggle up under a blanket, and watch a film of your choice! There is also a small desk where you can work, write, or draw. The sitting area also leads onto a sun terrace with views over the spacious garden. The bathroom is located on the first floor and has a bathtub, shower, toilet, and sink. On the second floor are the bedrooms, which have an authentic look thanks to the beautiful wooden beams. There are four single box-spring beds in total, a cot, and a chest of drawers.
Outdoor space
Guests of ‘Kleine Huis’ have access to a lovely sun terrace and covered patio, as well as to a charming courtyard and a large garden (shared with guests from the neighbouring holiday homes). The outdoor area also has a fire pit – the very thing you need for a cosy evening together! With a swing set, slide, and sandpit, this holiday home is also ideal for children.
