The 4-person holiday home Zonneberg is located at the edge of the South Limburg village of Ubachsberg. This luxuriously furnished farmstead with outdoor swimming pool is the perfect place to relax and escape from hectic everyday life.
Then and now
The farm has been known to residents of Ubachsberg as ‘de Zonneberg’ (sun hill) for a very long time. This is partly because the meadows of the farmhouse are adjacent to the ‘sun path’ that leads to the limekilns, and partly because the farm is located on a hill that gets a lot of sun. Since 2014, de Zonneberg has been owned by Jasper and Kim and their two daughters. They have renovated the entire farmstead with love and joy and live with their dogs in the rear part of the property. The old hayloft was transformed into a luxury holiday home that boasts many of the original features, such as the old wooden rafters.
Let’s take a look inside
The entrance to the holiday home is in the private courtyard. After climbing the stairs to the first floor, you enter the spacious and cosy living space with an inviting sitting area with flat-screen TV by the Norwegian wood-burning stove. Next to this sitting area is a large, wooden dining table – perfect for dining together. The adjoining open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, 4-ring induction hob, combi microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, and crockery for all guests. In addition to an attractive living space, the Zonneberg holiday home has two beautiful double bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom with double washbasin and walk-in shower, and a Finnish sauna. The boxspring beds will be made for you before you arrive, so you can enjoy your holiday right away.
Outdoor space
This holiday home has a beautiful outdoor area with a private, sheltered courtyard that has a garden table, outdoor fireplace, and OFYR barbecue (bring wood by your own). You also have access to a private garden with garden furniture and impressive views over the surrounding landscape. There is also a shared garden with deck chairs, picnic tables, and a fire pit. This area is also the owners' garden yet it is no problem to let your dogs run free. And from April to September, you can have a swim in the heated outdoor pool! Relax on the lounger as you admire the views over the forest and the meadows with horses.

Due to the location of the holiday home on the first floor and the (not enclosed) swimming pool, this house is not suitable for families or groups with children younger or equal than 10 years old.
