Amidst a beautiful walking area in Vijlen you will find a large half-timbered farmhouse. The owners of this farmhouse bought the property to be able to return to their roots in Limburg from time to time. In the left wing, they built four beautiful holiday homes, namely 't Klungelke, De Belemniet, De Keukelaer and De Lierelei. De Keukelaer is the middle, rear part of the U-shaped farmhouse and has its own driveway. This holiday home is the perfect place to completely unwind and start exploring all the beauty that Limburg has to offer.
Let's take a look inside
When you enter the house, you immediately step into the cosy living room. The comfy sofa, armchairs and chairs at the dining table offer plenty of opportunities to sit and spend time together. The open kitchen is equipped with a kettle, Nespresso machine, 4-burner hob and sufficient kitchen utensils to prepare a delicious meal. Bear in mind that there is no toilet on the ground floor. The somewhat steep wooden stairs in the living room will lead you to the first floor. Here you will find the characteristic bedroom, which is furnished with one double bed and two single beds. There is also a bathroom which is equipped with a toilet, luxurious walk-in shower and washbasin.
Outdoor space
During your stay in De Keukelaer, you will have a lovely, covered private terrace and private garden at your disposal. You can also take a seat at one of the picnic tables in the large, wild garden. This garden, which is shared with guests from the neighbouring holiday homes, is the perfect place to enjoy the sun and the fantastic view of the countryside.
