Indoor comfort
After parking your car in the farmhouse's parking lot, you walk along the footpath to the home you've booked. Upon entering the home, you'll immediately be embraced by the warm interior and the construction style of natural materials. The walls built with clay plaster, combined with the wooden beams, create a rugged yet cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
On the ground floor, you'll find the living area with a separate spacious kitchen with a dining table, a living room, a separate toilet, and a storage room.
The kitchen, with a natural stone countertop, is equipped with a SMEG induction stove, dishwasher, SMEG refrigerator with freezer, kettle, and a Nespresso machine for a delicious cup of coffee. There is also a wood stove in this space, so you can enjoy a long and atmospheric meal.
The living room is also a comfortable place to stay, and there is a wood stove here as well for that extra cozy feeling on colder days.
Via the stairs, you'll reach the first floor, where there are three double bedrooms, a separate toilet, and a bathroom. The bathroom has a double sink and two showers. One of the three bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with a sink and a shower.
Outdoor comfort
The homes are located along the main road from Meerssen to Rothem. Each home has its own terrace. In addition, there are communal seating areas on the farmhouse grounds. There is a communal outdoor space called 'De Sjop' where you can play a game of Jeu de Boules with your group. Additionally, you have access to a lanterfant barbecue/fire pit upon request.
Please note: the property is idyllically situated along 't Geulke, a branch of the Geul river, and there is no fence on the quay wall, only separated by a border.
