‘La Petite Beau’ is a very attractive, half-timbered house in the South Limburg town of Mechelen. Despite the fact that the holiday home is situated in the Beaujean family’s back garden, the proud owners of Beaujean Vacances have made sure you feel like you have the place all to yourself. All windows overlook the private terrace and the gorgeous, spacious garden located at the rear of the home.
Let’s take a look inside
You enter the holiday home into the light and airy open-plan living space. A cosy, modern seating area with artistic decorations is arranged around the pellet stove, the centrepiece of the room. The comfy sofa and lounge chairs are the perfect place to unwind while enjoying a glass of wine and a good book. Walk past the dining table in the middle of the room to reach the rustic, blue kitchen that is fully equipped with a 5-ring gas hob, oven, fridge and freezer, Nespresso machine, kettle, and all the pots, pans, and crockery you need. The ground floor also has a separate toilet.
The staircase takes you to the upper floor, which has a warm feel thanks to its wooden floors and earth plaster walls. When you come upstairs, on the left you will find a bathroom with shower over the bathtub, washbasin and toilet. The upper floor also has a double room which in turn gives access to the double room at the back. Both bedrooms are equipped with luxury single box-spring beds.
Outdoor space
The garden door in the living area leads onto the private, covered terrace and large garden. Relax in one of the loungers and enjoy the leafy surroundings, including the meandering Geul river at the bottom of the garden.
