The stylish 3-person holiday home Kleeberg Sjuur is set in the little hamlet of Kleeberg, surrounded by hills. Thanks in part to the beautiful walking and cycling routes that start here, this location is the perfect base for exploring South Limburg. Kleeberg Sjuur was once a little bakery, after which it became a barn. This detached half-timbered house has recently been completely restored and transformed into a unique holiday home.
Let’s take a look inside
Kleeberg Sjuur is cosy, stylishly furnished and equipped with all conveniences. You enter the house in the living area. The sitting area is equipped with a flatscreen television and a comfy sofa that can be pulled out into a double bed. The open kitchen has a dishwasher, 4-burner induction hob, convection oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and Nespresso machine. There are also plenty of pots, pans, dishes, plates and cutlery to cook up a real feast perhaps with some fresh local products. Behind the rustic barn door in the kitchen is a modern bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. The open staircase will take you to the upper floor where you will find a spacious bedroom. The bedroom is equipped with two single box-spring beds that have been joined together.
Outdoor space
On the south side there is a wonderful terrace with views over the fruit trees and the hills of Kleeberg. The adjacent meadow is often home to peacefully grazing horses or sheep. Enjoy the unique panoramic views while playing a board game or dining at the wooden outdoor table. The terrace is completely fenced off, which is of course handy if you’re bringing your dog. The children have not been forgotten either! They can have fun in the small, shared play area with trampoline.
The area
The hamlet of Kleeberg is part of Mechelen, a charming little village. Within a few minutes’ walk you can be in the heart of the village with its many terraces where you can enjoy a local beer, a delicious cup of coffee with a slice of Limburg pie, or a wonderful meal out. On top of that, it’s only a 20-minute drive to reach the Belgian villages of Aubel or Teuven. Maastricht and Aachen are also just half an hour away in the car.
Please note
Feel free to bring your dog. But we do ask that you bring your own basket.
