The luxury twelve-person holiday home Villa Commandeur is situated in the picturesque village of Mechelen, at just 200 metres from the cosy restaurants and cafés in the centre. Despite the fact that the home couldn’t be more centrally located, you’ll feel like you are entering an oasis of tranquillity as soon as you turn onto the villa drive. Generally speaking, Beaujean Vacances only rents out historic buildings, but we’re more than happy to make an exception for the contemporary Villa Commandeur!
Let’s take a look inside
Villa Commandeur is a spacious and luxurious holiday home with a warm interior. You enter the hall and then walk through into the large living area where there is a lot of natural light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. On the right-hand side of the living area you will find a cosy sitting area. Settle down on the sofa with friends or family and have a chat and a nice glass of wine, or watch a gripping film. On the other side of the room is a dining room with several tables that can be arranged as you wish. For example, you can put the tables together to form one long table, or create a large U-shape with the crackling fireplace in the middle. For an extra cosy atmosphere, you can dim the spotlights and light the candles. The bar connects the dining room to the kitchen. This spacious, modern kitchen is equipped with all conveniences including a dishwasher, 5-burner hob, convection oven, combi microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee machine and everything you need to put a delicious meal on the table.
The four bedrooms, all of which are stylishly decorated and come with boxspring beds, are located on the upper floor. The first bedroom is a spacious double room with its own seating corner, flatscreen TV, roof patio, and en-suite bathroom, with a shower, sink, and toilet. The second bedroom can be reached through the large bathroom. This spacious bedroom is suitable for four persons and has chairs and a flat screen TV. The bathroom is also spacious and equipped with a bath in the corner, shower, two washbasins, and a toilet. From the landing, you can reach the third bedroom. This room is suitable for two persons and has a private roof terrace with a view of the green garden. Additionally, this room has its own washbasin and you can connect this room with room 2 or 4 thanks to the connecting doors. Of course, you can also leave the connecting doors closed to have four fully fledged rooms. The last room is also for four people and features chairs, a flat screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet.
Outdoor space
Even though the inside of the home offers all the comforts you could wish for, the stunning outdoor space cannot be overlooked! As a guest, you have access to a large private garden with multiple patios. For example, there is a covered patio with an outdoor fireplace for cooler evenings, and a garden patio where you can soak up the midday sun. A sense of delightful tranquillity prevails in the garden, which is surrounded by a babbling brook. The grassy area offers all the space children could wish for to play in.
