The spacious holiday home De Pastorie XS is located in the heart of Gulpen. From both inside and out, this stately building still exudes the authentic atmosphere of its former function. Moreover, is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Heuvelland region of South Limburg, thanks to its central location.
Normally, De Pastorie is a holiday home suitable for family and friend groups up to 20 people, but upon (last minute) availability, we would like to make it possible to welcome smaller groups to this special location. The XS option includes the use of the entire ground floor, outdoor space and 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (max. 10 persons), meaning everyone will have more than enough space.
Let's take a look inside
The owner of De Pastorie has preserved the original character of the building as much as possible. After having entered the home, you will find yourself in a stately hall. Here, your eyes will immediately be drawn to the characteristic tiled floor. From the hall you walk through to the kitchen and living room. The living room is beautifully styled with artistic and ochre accents. The various sofas and armchairs provide enough space for everyone to sit together and have a drink.
From the living room, you walk through to the kitchen, which is equipped with a 5-burner hob, oven, microwave and two fridge-freezers. There is also plenty of kitchenware to prepare a delicious Burgundian meal. The home has also a unique dining room featuring a vaulted ceiling, wooden floor, large windows and an old fireplace. At one of the long wooden dining tables, you can enjoy a good glass of wine and some of the tasty regional products that South Limburg has to offer.
Furthermore, on the ground floor there are two separate toilets and one double bedroom with private bathroom. In addition, you can make use of the four double bedrooms with private bathroom located on the first floor. These bedrooms offer a beautiful view of the historic centre of Gulpen and the surrounding hills.
Outdoor space
There are several nice seating areas around the holiday home. The private terrace in front of the house, for example, is a lovely place for relaxing and enjoying the sun. For children there is a nice play area with a swing.
