The stylish holiday home Wingberg XS, situated just outside the village of Epen, is part of the Wingbergermolen complex. The Wingbergermolen, a traditional Limburg watermill from 1844 that used to serve as a granary mill, today consists of three beautiful holiday residences. Wingberg XS is located in the central part of the mill, the original storage area. Staying at this holiday home is a wonderful chance to experience what water-side living is like. The location is also ideal for nature lovers and anyone who likes to indulge their tastebuds.
The Wingberg holiday home is normally suitable for groups up to 14 people, but due to the current corona situation we now also offer the XS option. This means that smaller groups (of up to 6 people) get the opportunity to stay in this holiday home at a reduced rate. This option includes access to the entire ground floor, the outdoor area and in total 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Let’s take a look inside
Wingberg XS has a spacious living area with an attractive sitting area, fireplace, open kitchen and dining table. Spend the evenings together with friends or family on the sofa in front of the crackling fire. The kitchen is equipped with all conveniences including a dishwasher, 6-burner gas hob, large oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and kettle. The long dining table is ideal for enjoying meals together. The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the first and second floors. On the first floor there are three double bedrooms (with washbasin) and two bathrooms with shower and washbasin. On the second floor is another bathroom with a shower and washbasin. All bedrooms are equipped with luxury single box-spring beds.
Outdoor space
Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a lovely lounge terrace beside the river Geul, where you can enjoy the sun, the soothing sound of the water trickling by, and the beautiful views. You also have a good chance of spotting wagtails, trout and even beavers. At the front of the house there is also a communal garden with playground.
Catering
At this holiday home you can treat yourself to some delicious meals. You can choose to add the following catering options:
Breakfast (€15 p.p.)
- a selection of breads, sweet and savoury spreads, jam, yoghurt, coffee/tea and fresh orange juice
- delivered between 09:00 and 11:00
Lunch (€17.50 p.p. excl. drinks)
- tomato soup and mustard soup, a choice of sandwiches (with cheese/meat/fish), cheese and meat platter, vegetarian platter (including tapenade, olives, herb butter and bread)
- available between 12:30 and 14:00
Dinner (€20 p.p. excl. drinks)
