You enter this detached half-timbered house through the back door. You will then find yourself in the spacious kitchen which is equipped with all conveniences including a 4-burner induction hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and sandwich iron. The authentic wooden dining table is perfect for romantic dinners. From the kitchen you walk through to the grand living room, where you can relax on the large sofa by the wood-burning stove or practice your musical skills on the piano. Also on the ground floor are a spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a separate toilet and a pantry with a large fridge-freezer, washing machine and dryer.
The open staircase in the living room leads to the first floor, where you will find a bright, spacious room with beautiful views and access to the terrace. This room can serve as a lounge or study. On the first floor you will also find two stylish double bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom with bath, shower, double washbasin and toilet. The box-spring bed in the small bedroom and the electronically adjustable bed with Tempur mattresses in the large bedroom will ensure a good night's sleep.
Outdoor space
The Beekhuys has a garden which offers a true oasis of tranquillity. In this lovely setting, you will want to read a good book, have a picnic, light a wood fire or simply listen to the sounds of the river and the birds. Furthermore, you have access to no less than three terraces. The first terrace, adjacent to the kitchen, has a charming bistro set. The second terrace, adjacent to the lounge room, is equipped with a lounge set and a parasol. Around the corner is the third terrace. Here, everyone can sit sheltered and dine at the picnic table. Are you not one for sitting still? Then we recommend you go cycling or hiking in the nature-rich surroundings. Just follow the meandering Terzieterbeek and you will discover the most magnificent places.
