On a farm near the church in the picturesque little village of Sippenaeken you will find the holiday home ‘Gite Panhoes’. The owner of this characteristic, enclosed farmhouse is a passionate farmer who will happily give you a tour of the farm. The children will be fascinated by watching the cows being milked. The attractively furnished holiday home still has many original elements, like the rustic floors, authentic tiles and old beams.
Let’s take a look inside
You enter the house into the kitchen, which is equipped with all modern conveniences and will make you feel nostalgic. The long dining table is perfect for dinners together with up to ten people. After dinner, you can all relax in the living room, on the large, red corner sofa by the wood-burning stove. Create an extra-cosy atmosphere by lighting the stove, pouring a mug of hot chocolate and playing some board games. On the ground floor there is also a luxurious bathroom. This is equipped with a shower, bathtub, toilet and two washbasins. On the first floor of the house you will find a separate toilet and three double bedrooms. One of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom (with washbasin and shower) and is equipped with a cot. Finally, the attic room can accommodate four more people. Here there is also a bathroom with a shower and two washbasins.
Outdoor space
You might be tempted to just soak up the atmosphere indoors, but make sure to enjoy the outdoor farm life too! Take a look at the farm, relax on your private terrace or go for a nice walk. The countryside surrounding Sippenaeken is characterised by extensive hiking and cycling paths, nice bistros, winding country roads and beautiful, far-reaching views.
