This attractive four-person holiday home is part of a centuries-old courtyard farm situated in the hamlet of Julemont. The owner has completely restored the house and furnished it with style. The combination of old and modern elements creates a unique contrast here.
Let’s take a look inside
When you enter the farm through the large gate, you will see The Loft on the right. This holiday home is located on an upper floor and can be reached via the external staircase. When you enter the house, you will find yourself in a large living area with a unique design. The space has an attractive sitting area and an open kitchen that is equipped with all conveniences and offers views over the estate and the natural surroundings. To the left of the living area is a cosy bedroom with a double bed and a cot. There is also a luxurious bathroom equipped with a large designer bathtub with shower hose, washbasin and toilet. On the open mezzanine you will find another double bedroom. From the bed you can see the living room and the garden.
Outdoor space
During your stay you have access to a private terrace where you can enjoy the natural surroundings, the sunshine and the beauty of the property. Guests also have access to a communal indoor swimming pool and the large communal garden that gently slopes down towards the little river Berwinne. Children have plenty of room to play here, as the grounds are at least 3 hectares in size. Another bonus: In around September/October you can taste the apples and pears hanging in the orchard!
Heated indoor swimming pool
The highlight of the farm is surely the heated indoor swimming pool (12 by 4.5 metres) that offers views over the sloping garden. This swimming pool is located in a separate building under the car park where there is also a bathroom with shower and toilet. Swimming lessons take place here a few hours a week, but for the rest of the week you can make full use of it (together with guests from the other holiday homes on the farm).
The area
The area, also known as the Pays de Herve region, is a real paradise. Once you’ve tasted the delights of Val Dieu, Aubel and the Voer region, you won’t want to leave.
