Le Bis is an extremely inviting 4-person holiday home that is part of a centuries-old farmstead located in the hamlet of Julemont. The owner has completely restored the house and furnished it with style. The combination of old and modern elements forms a special contrast. Guests staying at Le Bis can use a heated indoor pool.
Let’s take a look inside
When you enter the farm through the large gate, you will see holiday home Le Bis on the right. You can park the car on the roof of the indoor swimming pool, located across the street from the holiday home. Walk down some steps to reach the front door and then enter the hall. To the left of the hall is a modern bathroom with large walk-in shower and two double bedrooms with wonderful box-spring beds. From the hall you can also continue to the luxuriously furnished living room and open kitchen that is equipped with all conveniences. While cooking, you have a fantastic view over the grounds.
Heated indoor swimming pool
The real showstopper at the farm is surely the heated, 12m by 4.5m indoor swimming pool located in the separate building below the parking area. This swimming pool is shared with guests from the nearby holiday homes. A few hours a week the pool is booked for swimming lessons, but during the rest of the week you can use it as much as you like. The building also has a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Outdoor space
As a guest staying at Le Bis, you have a private terrace where you can enjoy nature, the sunshine, and the beauty of the property. In addition, you can use the large, communal garden that slopes gently down to the small Berwinne river. Around September/October, you can taste the apples and pears growing on the fruit trees. Children have plenty of room to play, as the grounds cover an area amounting to 3 hectares.
The area
The area, also known as the Pays de Herve region, is a real paradise. Once you’ve tasted the delights of Val Dieu, Aubel and the Voer region, you won’t want to leave.
