The beautifully located holiday home Landgoed Tiffes consists of the two adjacent holiday homes: ‘Boswachtershuis’ and ‘Jagershuis’. Together, these homes are ideal for groups of up to 24 people. The living area at Boswachtershuis is big enough for the entire group. If someone wants some peace and quiet, they can retreat to the Jagershuis. The holiday homes are located on the Landgoed Tiffes estate, surrounded by forests, valleys, and meadows with horses.
Tiffes Estate – Then and now
A guest house was built on the Tiffes Estate as early as 1852. This guest house was intended for the guests of Eyneburg Castle, which is located just a fifteen-minute walk away. In 2002, the Tiffes Estate was taken over by the Hambeukers family. This family has completely restored and refurbished the estate, giving it back its former stately appearance. The grounds, which today include the family home and two attractive holiday homes, can be reached via a long driveway. Jagershuis is the holiday home on the left and Boswachtershuis is the holiday home on the right.
Boswachtershuis – Let’s take a look inside
You enter the house via the small hall with an original wooden staircase and exposed stone walls. This hall leads to the fully equipped kitchen-diner with 6-ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, extra refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, and dishwasher. There are also two long, wooden tables for dining or playing board games. Be sure to open the garden door in summer and enjoy a wonderful view of the pond. The kitchen leads to the spacious living room, where you will find a lovely seating area with black leather sofas, gas fireplace, and TV. The ground floor has another bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. The stairs lead to the first floor with two spacious double rooms, two triple rooms, and a spacious bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. There is also a second floor with one triple room, one quadruple room, and one bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet.
Jagershuis – Let’s take a look inside
Entering through front door, you will find yourself in the small hall. To the right of this hall is the cosy living room and to the left the fully equipped kitchen with 4-ring gas hob with wok burner, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, and dishwasher. Be sure to use the wood-burning stove in winter to provide some extra warmth and cosiness. The stairs in the kitchen lead to the first floor, with two double bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. The second floor has two more bedrooms: one double and one quadruple (two single beds and one double bunk bed). This floor also has a bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet.
Outdoor space
There is a lovely private terrace on the south side of the holiday homes. Sit in the sun with a chilled Belgian beer and enjoy the view over the meadows and the edge of the forest. The Hambeukers family love equestrian sports and have several horses in their stables. Feel free to take a look while riding. There is also plenty for children to do: from playing hide-and-seek or tag in the forest to rollicking in the sandbox or on the playground equipment in the play area. The surrounding area also offers plenty of opportunities for nice trips. For example, you can spend a day at an amusement park, castle, or zoo.
To ensure peace and quiet, we do not rent this holiday home to groups of young people.
