‘A jen Leng’ is a picturesque, 12-person holiday home with modern facilities, charming sitting areas, and a huge garden offering wonderful views. Located in a peaceful area of unspoilt nature, this holiday home is named after the 400-year-old lime tree that stands in the garden (‘Leng’ means ‘lime’ in the local dialect).
Take a look inside
You enter the holiday home into a hall which still has the original, wooden staircase. From this hall walk through to the spacious kitchen and living room. Next to the woodburner you will find a welcoming sitting area. The heart of the house, however, is the beautiful bright dining room in the conservatory. Here you can have great diner parties with your friends and family, enjoy the panoramic view and play on the digital piano. From the dining room you walk through to the spacious kitchen, which is equipped with all conveniences including a 4-burner induction hob, 2-burner ceramic hob, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, Senseo machine, regular coffee machine, freezer and two fridges. The kitchen tables can serve as additional workspace, but also as a nice sitting spot where you have a drink with the cooking enthusiasts of the group.
The authentic stairs in the hall of the house lead to the first and second floor. On the first floor there are seven attractive double bedrooms. Two of these are connected to each other and share a spacious bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and double washbasin. The other three share another bathroom which has a shower, washbasin, toilet, baby bath and changing mat. Eventually, the last two bedrooms (adjacent to the multifunctional recreation room) count a private ensuite shower room each - these two bedrooms were fully renovated in 2022. The house counts several multifunctional rooms like a playroom, recreation room and even a cinema. The cinema is equipped with a large screen, beamer and various luxurious chairs - basically everything you need for a great movie night. The bright recreation room can be used for many purposes such as group activities, yoga retreats, meetings and even small concerts. The available tables and chairs can easily be stored to create more space.
Outdoor space
The hall offers access to the spacious terrace, where you can enjoy the sun and dine in style while having a phenomenal view. A jen Leng also has a beautiful garden with lots of romantic sitting spots. During spring and summer, you can inhale the smell of the fragrant roses and taste the fresh raspberries, blackberries, pears, plums and cherries that all grow in the yard. Children, who have all the space to play here, will love the football field, gypsy wagon and swing set. So there is something for everyone!
