Villa Verde is located on the edge of the large and beautiful Bunderbos forest, with its springs and hillside setting. The village of Bunde sits cheek by jowl with Maastricht. Going to Maastricht? Catch the train (200 metres away) or take the cycling route (9 km) via the new Groene Loeper (‘green ribbon’ route over the ‘old’ A2 motorway). Valkenburg (10 km) or the picturesque centre of Meerssen (5 km) are also in the vicinity. The proud owners of Villa Verde are Michael and Danielle, with their 2 children. Villa Verde is situated in a former barn that is part of a municipal listed building dating back to 1880. The sizeable 4000 m2 plot was once surrounded by apple and pear trees. There are now plans to re-plant 32 standard fruit trees. The old barn has been painstakingly converted into two holiday properties using high-quality materials and hotel-standard furnishings. Without trying to make a palace out of a barn, the ethos behind the conversion was to create a solid, stylish, and sustainable property. Villa Verde is all about nature and the outdoor life: togetherness, tranquillity, and consideration for each other!
